Club Marion on Sturt Road is a big community club in Adelaide's south-west, with a bistro, bars, function rooms and an outdoor terrace overlooking the oval. In April 2026 I shot a full content package for them: the menu, drinks, lifestyle images and the venue itself, inside and out, including aerial drone shots of the whole site.
Showing off the spaces
For a club, the venue is the product as much as the food. Members and function clients want to see where they'll be sitting, so I photographed every key space in clean, natural light: the bistro dining room, the covered terrace with its timber planters, and the long bar along the balcony looking straight out over the oval.
From the kitchen to the table
I started in the kitchen with plates coming off the pass, then moved out to the terrace to shoot the menu where members actually eat it. The bistro classics, like the chicken parmigiana, sit alongside more refined dishes like the fish with romesco, and a dessert or two to finish.
Lifestyle content with real energy
To bring it to life we shot a group out on the terrace eating, laughing and raising a glass, with the oval behind them. These are the images that sell a Friday lunch or a catch-up with mates, and they work hard across social media, the website and printed promotions.
